Data Loss in Windows 8? Possible

It is so impossible that JM loss his files on her partition when he installed a Windows 8 OS.

JM recently approached me that almost of his file in his second partition of its physical hard drive of his computer has lost. Personally, I don't have any idea about it, and I don't blame the Windows 8 OS because it is impossible that OS controls the files on another partition on his Computer, at hindi ko tinitingnan ang dahilan na "bug" ito ng Windows 8 kasi kung bug, OS lang ang problema, hindi madadamay ang ibang laman ng Hard Drive nya.
 
POSSIBLE REASONS:

  1. Due to virus infection to the hard disk drive. - may virus na nakapasok sa ibang partition
  2. Due to file system corruption. -na corrupt ang file system ng Hard Disk kaya kailangan i-reformat ito
  3. Due to abruptly shut down of system.-hindi nai-proper shutdown ang Computer kaya ang hard disk ang unang naapektuhan
  4. During the partitioning if it fails due to some error then also it fails. -So far, sa pag-rereset namin ng partition ni JM sa kanyang computer, it never happens, but I didn't site this as one of the reasons...
These are some reasons due to which you may lose your data from your hard disk drive. But you can take some care to avoid all such problems like,

  • Always keep updated antivirus in your system. - regularly i-update ang iyong anti-virus sa PC mo, at pumili ng pucho-puchong free dyan sa tabi-tabi haha..
  • Use good power surge to avoid power loss. - Sa may mga desktop sa bahay, kung rich kid ka man, bumili ka ng UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply) para kung sakaling magka-brown out, may time kang i-save mga gawa mo at mapa-proper shutdown mo PC mo bago ang UPS ay ma-lowbat, at sa may laptop, kung tatanggalin mo ang battery ng laptop mo, siguraduhin na ang kuryente sa bahay niyo ay hindi paputol-putol (kung sakali man)
  • Always keep backup of the system data. -kung nanaisin mo, i-back-up mo lahat ng files sa External Hard Drive kung saan ikaw na ang may control... Wag mo lang isasaksak sa computer na may virus... ka-engotan na yan... 
Gumamit ng Hard Drive Partition Recovery software upang mai-manage mo ng mabuti ang iyong partition sa iyong hard drive. Ito ay may free version at paid version, supported sa Windows OS at Mac OS...
