Cherry Mobile Flare 2.0 spotted on Cherry Mobile Thailand website

Last February, I posted about the CM Flare 2.0 on my Facebook account that will be releasing this second or third quarter of this year. Thanks to the Cherry Mobile employee I talked from one of their authorized retail store.

This morning, a member of Cherry Mobile Flare PH group discovered a specification of CM Flare 2.0 from Cherry Mobile Thailand website with some improvements from CM Flare 1.0, here’s the round-up of specs:
  • 2G/3G
  • Dual SIM
  • CPU : Quad core 1.2 GHz
  • OS : Android 4.1 Jelly Bean
  • Internal Memory : ROM: 4GB/ RAM: 1GB
  • Memory Expansion : microSD, up to 32 GB
  • Screen: 4" WVGA Multitouch 480x800 pixels resolution
  • back camera : 5 MP autofocus with LED flash
  • front camera : vga
  • Bluetooth, USB Port, 3G/HSDPA, GPRS, EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS
  • Battery: Li-ion 1500 mAh
The specs is quite good, but the main drawbacks here is the 1500 mAh, the battery drains fast, since it is 4inch and a quadcore phone. The screen is only a WVGA screen, not mentioned whether it has IPS display. This device running with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean out of the box, another info that confuses the Flare 1.0, doubted about the screenshots leaked this morning that those screenshots may came from Flare 2.0.

As of now, there is no any teaser on Cherry Mobile PH official Facebook fan page, that may give us idea about these rumor, no price yet and availability here in the Philippines. Lets wait and see what if this phone will be release here in the Philippines.
